We arranged a cookery course as a 70th birthday celebration. We were a group of 12, ranging in age from 9 to 80+. We have, between us, several dietary requirements including allergies to certain food groups. The family has a range of cookery skills from the advanced to the novice. Pam and Louise coped with all of our different needs and abilities, and provided an afternoon of cookery fun and enjoyment. All of us, including the more experience cooks, gained something culinary from the day but the primary emphasis was on enjoyment and celebration. At the end of the cookery session we had produced enough good dishes (including mousaka, linguini, pizza, turkey meatballs, Tiramisu, fruit kebabs and chocolate) and even bruschetta courtesy of Pam’s magic rescue room. You might not think it possible to mess-up bruschetta but then, you have not seen me in action!

The afternoon was great fun, relaxed and friendly. Pam and Louise looked after us very well indeed, and we an excellent birthday celebration. Would recommend to others; and be very happy to return.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We really enjoyed hosting your party and helping you to make some great family memories. Your bruschetta were fine (just a little scraping required). It's amazing how bread dough, pasta, cheese sauces, lemon drizzle and a whisked sponge can all be made with ease and then a little bit of bread charring is sent to challenge you.
We hope you will all be able to get together to cook (and eat) again soon.

We held our daughters 12th birthday party here last Saturday. The girls all had a fantastic time and said how much they had all enjoyed it. It's such a fantastic set up. My daughter chose the menu herself and then the girls all sat down to eat what they had made at the end. Pam was excellent all the way along from helping with the menu choice before hand to engaging with all the children on the day, making it fun for all of them. Several of my daughters friends said they would like to have their birthday parties here. There is a separate area for adults to relax and chat with tea and coffee provided. Everyone came away happy and relaxed!!

I bought this for my younger cousins as a Christmas present and we made a Swiss roll and an amazing chocolate cake! We also went on the Mothers Day class and made vanilla cupcakes and a lemon cake which both tasted amazing! Cant wait to go again.

We had our daughter’s party here today! It was fantastic all the kids loved it and learned loads!! Pam who ran it was so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble and was lovely with the children. We were able to choose the menu the children made with a choice if the children were allergic to anything. All the parents commented on how much the children were loving it and engaged in what they were doing!! Very good value for money, fantastic organisation of all the ingredients etc I’ll be sending her back to classes for sure.

Freya loved the pasta course yesterday and can't wait to spend another day cooking with you! As an extra bonus she brought home enough delicious food to ensure our tea was covered too! Lasagne, tortellini, fresh pesto and yummy herby bread. Highly recommend Saddleworth Cookery School.

My daughter did the afternoon tea class today and the facilities and cooking tutors are fantastic. Given the recipes to take home and use . The effort and work that's put in to making it a wonderful experience is well worth the cost. Loved so much we booked more.

The girls have attended a full day event today. They have made so many things and are thrilled to bits. They have learned new skills and thought Pam was a very good teacher who also made them laugh! We would definitely recommend for children who are interested in cooking.

My son and his friend (both 9) attended one of the holiday cookery clubs and absolutely loved it! The food they brought home was delicious and he can't wait to do it again. Thanks Pam! X
